Purchase Rat Queens on Comixology

I was kind of just wondering why Tumblr isn’t talking about this fabulously crude comic about awesome ladies.

What’s his Phylactery you ask? The Holy Grail. So then the Pythons weren’t on a quest just to recover a grail, they were trying to destroy Jesus the Lich!

So, I was fact checking this, and I came across a couple sites that try to justify and explain why slavery isn’t forbidden in the Bible.  Their explanations were just astonishing and  ridiculous. I can’t believe anyone would try to use these arguments in defense of the bible -things such as:
slavery was too culturally entrenched at the time to try to change it
Slavery wasn’t so bad back then (apparently losing your freedom can be fun)
God was going to save the slaves by convincing their masters to turn christian (as that obviously worked so well for American slaves)
The Bible wasn’t meant to cover political issues like slavery (clearly owning another person isn’t a moral issue after all)
